“The Paper” — not the MTV show

Thought people might be interested in this film about Penn State’s student paper. Probably some of you have seen it. It aired on PBS’s Independent Lens last year.

It’s a great documentary about an independent student paper. Realistic and insightful, it follows the editors and reporters throughout the paper’s hierarchy as they navigate stories and the business challenges of declining print circulation. Show it to your students and inspire them to pursue the career in college.
