Something I haven’t mentioned yet is how much I think about my students each day.  With each new idea I have, I imagine in my mind how some students will react.  I imagine teaching these things to them, how I might approach it, and what I might need to do to prepare for it.  Every day I think of specific students who will benefit from what I can take back to them.

Today, during the review session, I thought of a student, Amber.  She loves to write reviews.  Unfortunately, they sometimes go on forever, and she summarizes a ton.  I have tried to think of ways to teach her, but I haven’t had a chance to really think about the specific things she needs to know.  But everything H.L. said today just made me think, “Amber will love this!  She will have some great ways to write better reviews now!”

I guess that’s the whole point, isn’t it?  To use this to change the way we teach, right?

Well, peace out, homies.  My coach just turned back into a pumpkin, so it is time to head off to dreamland.  (Is it just me, or am I getting sillier?)
